Because each assignment requires the allocation of professional time, administrative resources, coordination with service providers and authorities, and, in many cases, immediate third-party expenses, this Cancellation &amp; Refund Policy explains our policy regarding cancellations and refunds.<\/p>\n<h2>1. Payment and Commencement of Work<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Payment constitutes authorization for Stellar Konsulting to begin work on the client&#8217;s matter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once payment has been received, Stellar Konsulting may immediately begin processing the assignment. Work may include reviewing documents, verifying case information, preparing service materials, communicating with the client, coordinating with process servers or other service providers, contacting courts or government authorities, arranging translations, preparing or submitting documents, arranging courier services, conducting research, or performing other activities necessary to fulfill the assignment.<\/p>\n<p>For purposes of this Policy, <strong>work is considered to have commenced immediately upon receipt of payment and authorization to proceed<\/strong>, regardless of whether a physical service attempt, filing, translation, delivery, or other substantive action has yet been completed.<\/p>\n<h2>2. No Refunds After Payment<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Once payment has been received, the payment is non-refundable because work on the matter may begin immediately.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A client may request that an assignment be stopped or cancelled after payment; however, cancellation does not create an entitlement to a refund.<\/p>\n<p>This policy applies even if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>A process server has not yet attempted service;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The recipient has not yet been located;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Documents have not yet been delivered;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A filing has not yet been completed;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A translation has not yet been completed;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A foreign agent or service provider has not yet reported an outcome; or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The client subsequently decides that the service is no longer required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To the extent permitted by applicable law, <strong>all payments are final once received and are not refundable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>3. Cancellation Requests<\/h2>\n<p>Clients may submit a cancellation request in writing by contacting Stellar Konsulting using the contact information provided on this website.<\/p>\n<p>A cancellation request does not automatically result in a refund. Once payment has been received, Stellar Konsulting may have already allocated personnel, initiated administrative work, contacted third parties, incurred expenses, or otherwise begun processing the assignment.<\/p>\n<p>If a client requests cancellation after payment, Stellar Konsulting will make reasonable efforts to stop further work where practical. However, the cancellation will not create a right to recover amounts already paid.<\/p>\n<h2>4. Third-Party Fees and Expenses<\/h2>\n<p>International and domestic assignments may require payments or commitments to third parties. These may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Process server fees;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Foreign agent fees;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Government and Central Authority fees;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Court filing fees;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Translation fees;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Courier and shipping charges;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Investigation or research expenses;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Notary or certification fees;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Document reproduction expenses; and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Other costs incurred on the client&#8217;s behalf.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once these costs have been incurred or committed, they are non-refundable.<\/p>\n<p>The client remains responsible for third-party expenses that Stellar Konsulting has incurred or committed in connection with the assignment, even if the client subsequently requests cancellation.<\/p>\n<h2>5. Unsuccessful or Delayed Service<\/h2>\n<p>Payment for professional services is not contingent upon successful completion of service of process or achievement of a particular outcome.<\/p>\n<p>International service of process may be affected by laws, regulations, court requirements, government procedures, Central Authority requirements, recipient availability, address accuracy, local restrictions, holidays, delays, or other circumstances outside Stellar Konsulting&#8217;s reasonable control.<\/p>\n<p>An unsuccessful service attempt, inability to locate a recipient, delay, rejection by an authority, or inability to complete service does not automatically entitle the client to a refund.<\/p>\n<p>Where appropriate, Stellar Konsulting may advise the client regarding additional service attempts, alternative procedures, updated information, or other available options. Any additional services may be subject to additional fees.<\/p>\n<h2>6. Client Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<p>Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely information and documents necessary to perform the requested services.<\/p>\n<p>Clients should carefully review all information submitted to Stellar Konsulting before payment, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Names and addresses;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Legal documents;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Court information;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Deadlines;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Contact information;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Service instructions; and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Any special requirements applicable to the assignment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information causes additional work, delays, additional service attempts, or additional expenses, additional fees may apply.<\/p>\n<p>Payments for services already initiated are not refundable because of incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the client.<\/p>\n<h2>7. Changes to an Assignment<\/h2>\n<p>After payment, a client may request changes to the scope, instructions, documents, recipient information, location, or other aspects of an assignment.<\/p>\n<p>Stellar Konsulting will determine whether the requested change can reasonably be accommodated.<\/p>\n<p>Changes that require additional work, additional service attempts, new translations, additional courier services, new filings, or additional third-party services may result in additional charges.<\/p>\n<p>A change to an assignment does not create a right to a refund of the original payment.<\/p>\n<h2>8. Refunds Required by Law<\/h2>\n<p>Stellar Konsulting intends to enforce this Cancellation &amp; Refund Policy to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing in this Policy is intended to waive, restrict, or exclude any refund, cancellation, consumer, or other legal right that cannot lawfully be waived or excluded under applicable law.<\/p>\n<p>Where a refund is legally required, the amount and method of the refund will be determined in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.<\/p>\n<h2>9. Approved Refunds<\/h2>\n<p>Except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly approved by Stellar Konsulting in writing, payments are non-refundable after receipt.<\/p>\n<p>If Stellar Konsulting approves a refund in a particular circumstance, the refund will generally be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or required by law.<\/p>\n<p>Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.<\/p>\n<p>An approved refund in one circumstance does not create a right to a refund in another circumstance.<\/p>\n<h2>10. Relationship to Other Policies<\/h2>\n<p>This Cancellation &amp; Refund Policy should be read together with Stellar Konsulting&#8217;s <strong>Terms &amp; Conditions<\/strong>, <strong>Privacy Policy<\/strong>, <strong>Service Delivery Policy<\/strong>, and other applicable website policies.<\/p>\n<p>In the event of a conflict between this Policy and another policy concerning cancellation or refunds, the provisions of this Cancellation &amp; Refund Policy will govern the specific refund or cancellation issue, subject to applicable law.<\/p>\n<h2>11.
