Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Stellar Konsulting LLC (“Stellar Konsulting,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we provide international service of process, translation and litigation support services. Because each assignment requires the allocation of professional time, coordination with third parties, and, in many cases, the immediate incurrence of costs, this Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which cancellations and refunds may be permitted.

1. Service Requests

Upon acceptance of a service request, Stellar Konsulting LLC may begin reviewing documents, coordinating with domestic or international process servers, arranging translations, communicating with government authorities, preparing case materials, or performing other administrative and litigation support activities necessary to fulfill the assignment.

For purposes of this Policy, work is deemed to have commenced when Stellar Konsulting begins performing any services related to the client’s assignment, regardless of whether service of process has been completed.

2. Cancellation Requests

Clients may request cancellation of a service by contacting Stellar Konsulting in writing using the contact information provided on this website.

Cancellation requests will be evaluated based on the status of the assignment at the time the request is received.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis and depends on the stage of the assignment.

Before Work Has Commenced
If a cancellation request is received before work has commenced, Stellar Konsulting may, at its sole discretion, approve a full or partial refund.

After Work Has Commenced
Once work has commenced, professional service fees for work already performed are generally non-refundable.

Work may include, but is not limited to:

  • Reviewing documents and case information
  • Administrative processing
  • Coordinating with domestic or international process servers
  • Communicating with foreign authorities, courts, or agents
  • Preparing service packages
  • Coordinating document translations
  • Arranging courier or shipping services
  • Filing or submitting documents
  • Conducting research or other litigation support activities
4. Third-Party Fees and Expenses

Certain assignments require payments to third parties. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following expenses, once incurred, are generally non-refundable:

  • Government fees
  • Court filing fees
  • Central Authority fees
  • Translation fees
  • Courier and shipping charges
  • Foreign agent or process server fees
  • Investigation or research expenses
  • Any other third-party costs incurred on the client’s behalf

These expenses remain payable regardless of whether service is ultimately completed.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely information necessary to perform the requested services.

If delays, additional work, unsuccessful service attempts, or additional expenses result from incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated information provided by the client, additional charges may apply. Amounts paid for services already performed or expenses already incurred are generally non-refundable.

6. Unsuccessful Service

International service of process is governed by the laws, procedures, and requirements of the jurisdiction in which service is to be affected.

Stellar Konsulting cannot guarantee that service will be completed within a specific timeframe or that service will be successful in every case. Circumstances beyond our reasonable control—including legal restrictions, governmental action, court requirements, inability to locate the recipient, or inaccurate information supplied by the client—do not automatically entitle the client to a refund.

7. Approved Refunds

If Stellar Konsulting approves a refund, it will generally be issued using the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

8. Changes to This Policy

Stellar Konsulting reserves the right to modify or update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will become effective upon publication on this website unless otherwise stated.
